Looking for Support & Information
Family Connections is a support group for carers of children on the autism spectrum. It was established in 2006, and the focus is to provide support and information for carers living in the north-eastern suburbs. In a span of five years the group has now grown considerably and we now have two groups meeting Wednesday daytime and Wednesday night.
Wednesday day meet twice a month for guest speakers and workshops, and in the off fortnight we meet for a coffee and chat, with a massage available if you would like. The night group meets once a month.
Throughout the year we also hold group workshops and speakers where all groups are involved. As an extremely motivated group, we now feel that after listening to various guest speakers, attending workshops and just simply listening to each othrs's life stories, we are armed with a lot of knowlege and want to help you!
Whether you need a friendly ear or shoulder, some advice as to where to go or what to do, we would love to hear from you. We would love to have you attend one of our meetings or just a few that interests you.
All meetings are informal, fun, and no RSVP is required.
